BPVC: 2025 Edition

The 2025 edition of the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code is the current edition. Section III (the nuclear section) covers light-water reactors (Division 1), fusion energy devices (Division 4) and high-temperature reactors (Division 5). ASME summarises the edition’s changes in a “Significant Changes” video.

Every new edition of the code should be checked for the changes that matter: a widening of scope can open new lines of business for clients already Section III-certified, without a fresh certification.
