Giancarlo Gobbi
My name is Giancarlo Gobbi, and I am the President and CEO of 3HCSI Srls. (www.3hcsi.org).
I have over 43 years of experience in Quality Assurance, having served as the Director of QA within the FOMAS GROUP. My expertise lies in the manufacturing of forgings and rolled rings for various industrial applications, including oil & gas, power generation, nuclear, wind, aerospace, and automotive sectors.
For five years, I held the position of Managing Director at FOMAS Group Bay Forge Ltd. in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
I have been a long-time ASME volunteer, contributing to Sections III, V, VIII, and IX in Italy and Spain. I am also a member of the CNC and the newly formed Italian IWG Section III & CA committees.
Since January 2017, I have been working as an Independent Consultant, acting as the ASME Liaison in Europe.
In this role, I promote ASME standards and their associated product and personnel certification programs.
Additionally, I am a member of the EU SMR IA TWG 3 – Subgroup I&A and member of the Board of Associazione Italiana Nucleare. (AIN)

3HCSI acts as ASME’s liaison in Europe, promoting ASME’s products and services, creating opportunities for growth in areas such as conformity assessment, standards, training, and professional development. These activities include workshops, certification programs, webinars, and training courses for professionals and companies in the conventional and nuclear pressure vessel sectors.
