Giancarlo Gobbi
Giancarlo Gobbi serves as the ASME Liaison for Business Development across Europe and the Middle East. With over 43 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Giancarlo previously held the role of Director of QA at FOMAS GROUP, a leader in the manufacturing of forgings and rolled rings for a wide range of industries, including oil and gas, power generation (from nuclear to wind power), aerospace, and automotive sectors.
A dedicated ASME volunteer, Giancarlo has actively contributed to Sections III, V, VIII, and IX, serving on committees in Italy, Spain, across Europe, and Canada. In January 2017, he transitioned to independent consultancy, continuing his role as ASME Liaison in Europe and the Middle East, where he promotes ASME standards and their associated product and personnel certification programs.
In addition, Giancarlo has been a member of the ASME CNC Committees for Nuclear Certification since 2011.
Since September 2022, Giancarlo and his organization, 3HCSI LLC, have shared a co-working office space with NORMADOC in Paris.
Our Mission
3HCSI acts as ASME’s liaison in Europe, promoting ASME’s products and services, creating opportunities for growth in areas such as conformity assessment, standards, training, and professional development. These activities include workshops, certification programs, webinars, and training courses for professionals and companies in the conventional and nuclear pressure vessel sectors.
